Birthday: 26th April 1992
Occupation: Student, actress, singer.
Danielle Hope is an 18-year old girl from Urmston, Manchester. She passed the auditions and callbacks and got into the Final 20. Put into a group with Amy Diamond, Claire Hillier and Emilie Fleming. She passed that to go into the 1st live show. She peformed “Red” and Andrew Lloyd Webber said “You’ll paint the red ruby one day.” She avoided the sing-off and passed into Week 2. Danielle peformed “Just a Little Girl” and John Paltridge commented “It was committed, it was intelligent and an extremely sophisticated performance for a girl your age.” Danielle avoided the sing off again and sailed into Week 3. She peformed “Could it Be Magic” and went into the bottom two with Dani. Andrew chose Danielle, leaving her to sing another week.

Firstly congratulations and hope all is going well for you, I can appreciate it is a busy time at the moment. My son Fintan is 7 years old and a huge fan of yours and all things ‘Wizard of Oz’. We’ve managed to get tickets for March 13th and he is so looking forward to seeing you. It would be his dream to meet you, even briefly by the stage door ? Can you let us know when the best time would be before or after ? would it be possible to have a signed photograph as well ? Thank you and good luck with all your shows ! Kevin

First and foremost you are truly unique and I’m so pleased my daughter is a fan. Molly turns 7 in March and on the 23rd Matinee we are hopping on the train from Manchester to come to see you in London. I, like the guy above am eager to find the times you pop your head out of the stagedoor and also would love a photographed autograph of you (happy to pay) but no idea how to get one? I hope you are enjoying your new life and are not too exhausted with such a hectic schedule. We look forward to seeing you in March.

I was totally ‘blown away’ by your performance. You can’t be new at this, not with your stage presence and star quality! Your lovely voice and energetic portrayal Dorothy brought so much life to that beloved character. You made her your own! Do you realise that you were the only actor on that stage who carried off a proper midwestern American accent throughout the entire performance?
I look forward to seeing you again, when I return to London in July, and know that this marks the beginning of a long and successful career for you!

My 9 year old daughter Lauren voted for you every week on ‘Over the Rainbow’ and finally her dream came true to see you in Oz last Sunday 17th April. You were fabulous! She hasn’t stopped talking about it since. Would it be possible to have a signed photo for her room as a surprise please?

I am an absolute Wizard of oz nut! My wife treated us to see you on the 23rd of July. I was unsure what to expect, but you blew me away! Even with the technical hitch,(witchcraft if you ask me)!What an amazing show! I am a wizard of oz memrobilia collector and would love to add your autograph to go along side Judy’s!
