Danielle Hope and John Barrowman at Charity Gala

Danielle Hope and John Barrowman are both on the bill for a charity gala at the London Palladium on Monday 28th November 2011.

The Gala is in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, who celebrate a centenary this year.

The evening will be produced by David Ian who is behind West End hits including Grease, Flashdance and The Sound of Music.

The gala will be hosted by Graham Norton and the line-up so far includes:

  • Danielle Hope who is playing Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium:

Danielle Hope is on The One Show Friday, January 28th at 7.00pm. Danielle is of course in the middle of rehearsals playing Dorothy in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new musical The Wizard of Oz, which starts previews in just over a week’s time now! The first Wizard of Oz performance should be at the London Palladium on 7th February 2011.

The One Show visits Danielle Hope with Toto in her dressing room at the London Palladium. The One Show is on on BBC1 at 7:00 pm

Danielle Hope With The Cake at London Palladium’s 100th

Danielle Hope was there with Andrew Lloyd Webber at the London Palladium on Tuesday afternoon to help celebrate the theatre’s 100th birthday with a celebrity party and an announcement about the refurbishments.

Danielle spoke about her forthcoming part in the history of the London Palladium as Dorothy, leading role in The Wizard of Oz:

“Hello! and happy 100th birthday to the London Palladium. What an amazing afternoon. A wonderful group of people and such a great place to celebrate, I’m so proud  that I can be a part of it. There has been such tremendous history here, so far, and hopefully I shall make some more, all good I hope. So have a look at the cake, and Happy Birthday Palladium, cheers”

Sir Terry Wogan will be kicking off his new series of Weekend Wogan Live with a very special live show from a unique location.

The World Famous London Palladium, which is celebrating its centenary year, will be the venue for this one-off event and tickets will be on sale in aid of BBC Children in Need.

As well as Sir Terry hosting the show there’ll be a stellar line up of music and personality guests, including Ben Montague, Beverly Knight, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jimmy Tarbuck, Status Quo, Imelda May, Danielle Hope, KT Tunstall and JLS plus of course the house band fronted by Elio Pace.
